Mono installs the first Datatool Adventure TrakKING system to a retail customers bike!

Exciting news this week as we are the first installers to fit the new Datatool Adventure TrakKING unit to a retail customers bike. The new unit has the added protection of an emergency contact should you be involved in a accident, as well as being able to plot your rides and of course the added protection and notification should your bike be stolen.

We also fitted a Datatool S4 Red, Alarm / Immobiliser system to a new BMW 650, time consuming to fit but offers superb protection for £349.

I’ve included some links for info on the products:

BSB at Brands Hatch, what a ride!

Great day in the sun for the last round of BSB 2017

Sunday I was lucky enough to get an early birthday present from Katy, British Super Bike tickets! We set off early, damp roads made for a steady ride there but what a awesome day. Sun beamed down on one of the warmest October days and the knights on there 220bhp monsters put on an amazing show. Gutted for Haslam but well done Shakey! Roads drier on the way back the 765 RS is an outstanding machine the traction control lets you to ride far harder than should be possible two up!

Back to the dirt!

So after finishing the KTM 300 two stroke last week we are on to a slightly newer four stoke version an EXC400. This came in as a non starter and looking in the fuel tank it was easy to see why. Mud! Stripping the carb, fuel tap and tank, ultrasonic cleaning and fresh fuel and it was up and running.

Continuing our week of dirt bikes, this time a pint sized pit bike with a rattle from the motor. I was told it was still running, but a couple of kicks I could hear it was coming from the top end even without starting it. Pulling the cam covers off revealed a snapped rocker. Parts on order for this one so that’s shelved for a few weeks.

So you think that this has  been a diverse week, just wait until next weeks blog!
