AJP History.
AJP Motorcycles is a Portuguese manufacturer of Enduro and Supermoto motorcycles producing single-cylinder bikes which could be seen as updated equivalents of Honda’s XR bikes from the 1980s or as an evolution of the CCM GP450. Modern technology has replaced much of the early design specs, especially in areas such as fuel injection, high quality suspension systems and frame components.
AJP Motorcycles was founded in 1987 by two brothers, António Pinto and Jorge Pinto’ in Penafiel, northern Portugal. AJP started as a workshop preparing off-road motorcycles and it was only later that the company diversified into manufacturing complete motorcycles.
The family values and the respect for the machinery is at the core of the AJP ethos with each AJP motorcycle being built by hand. In 2025 AJP invested in a new factory to improve production, a state of the art facility to cater for their growing business.
The AJP flagship bike is the ultimate lightweight adventure bike, the PR7. A 600cc adventure bike which you can ride around the world or locally off and on road, simply add panniers and off you go!
For 2025 the PR7 has undergone some significant changes. These include the frame geometry, air box design and filter change, improved aerodynamics for the windscreen and the addition of Angel Eyes lights to light up the trails at night!
The Gold Edition PR7 also comes with Ohlins suspension and some beautiful gold anodising.

ENGINE
Reliability meets performance! The heart of the PR7 is a compact, light and modern engine equipped with a balance shaft and a six-speed gearbox making it perfect to match the philosophy of adventure.
The single-cylinder water-cooled engine equipped with a double overhead cam and 4 valves fed by Ø45mm throttle body allows an optimal torque delivery. The ATHENA GET® ECU a smooth power delivery through all the rev range.
FRAME AND CHASSIS
The rally seat provides the rider extra comfort in all conditions. The waterproof fabric and fully lined seat combined with improved ergonomics is the most comfortable adventure experience that AJP have ever made.
SUSPENSION AND BRAKES
Front Ø48mm Closed Cartridge with 300mm travel and rear fully-adjustable 280mm travel ZF SACHS® suspension with reservoir will help you to overcome all kinds of terrain. The BREMBO® brakes with braided lines will give you confidence if ever feel the need to stop.
TABLET
The dashboard is a Samsung Tab A tablet which includes 32gb ROM, 2gb RAM, wi-fi enabled, 64 bit quad core and enables the rider to download their preferred navigational apps.
The intention of the tablet is to provide a simple and easy navigational platform. The tablet can be used with a standard GPS, Garmin or Tom Tom.
The tablet can be used as simply a heads up display with speedometer, timer, trip meter, etc. But ca also use any app that is added. The tablet also features a handy USB port to enable the rider to charge other accessories.

Tyres. As a Dunlop Pro Dealer we highly recommend The Dunlop Trailmax Raid 50/50 tyre. Not quite as hard core as the Michelin’s fitted which are a 90/10 off road tyre bias. The Trailmax Raid’s will give better grip for the UK roads up still be superb on our all but most hard going trails.

Performance radiator braces.
AS3 Performance radiator braces are designed to give your cooling system maximum protection without sacrificing airflow to the radiators. They are constructed using light weight 3.5mm wrap around frame and feature 5mm heavy duty strengthening bars that will significantly reduce damage to the radiators on impact.

Crash bars.
AS3 Performance crash bars are constructed from strong, high quality, 3mm thick aluminium to provide maximum protection to the engine and fairings without adding unnecessary weight.

AJP genuine 20mm lowered link. We recommend fitting after the bike has had chance to “settle” as the suspension will become softer with a few miles on it.

Rally Raid 30mm Lowering link.
Please bear in mind the forks can only drop through the yokes approx. 20mm. To bring the forks through 30mm to keep the same rake angle you would need to install bar risers.

Suspension Set-Up.
Get the very best out of your bike with a tailored suspension set up to your weight. This will improve comfort and handling and grip levels on and off road.
We recommend this is done after the bike as done at least 500 miles to allow the suspension to settle.
