AJP PR7, Triumph, Suzuki, Honda, KTM, Dunlop Tyres and events.
Happy New Year 2026 and we are back to a busy workshop.
Triumph Street Twin, Triumph Tiger 900, KTM 950 SM.
Last Friday (2nd Jan 2026) Daniel, Oaklie and Katy were all back at the mono motorcycles workshop. The phone was ringing quite consistently, and we have started to take our Spring service and MOT bookings already.
On the ramps, we welcomed the following.
First up we welcomed a Triumph Tiger 900 for a Snow Foam and ACF50 treatment.

Next up we welcomed a Triumph Street Twin for a new set of Dunlop Arowmax StreetSmart tyres, front and rear brake pads and an oil change.

Next up we welcomed a KTM 950 SM. The SM was running, but not terribly well. Oaklie had the carbs out and completely cleaned them out. The KTM is now running and we then put an MOT on the bike.

Daniel has started the final stages of the wiring on the Honda Dominator with the mo.unit blue nearly complete. Switches are the last part to add in before the bike is put back together and run up.
Suzuki SV650, AJP PR7 and BMW
A varied and interesting start to our first full week of 2026. We also welcomed freezing conditions and snow!
First up we welcomed back a lovely Suzuki SV650 for a Major Service, brake pads and new exhaust clamps.

Next up, we started the upgrades on our latest AJP PR7 sale. Our customer requested new tyres and we naturally fitted Dunlop Trailmax Raids. He also asked for us to fit a rear luggage rack and an XTRING pre-load adjuster.

We also fitted a new fuel sender strip to the BMW K1200 we welcomed just before Christmas.
Honda CRF300, Kawasaki KLE, Honda Dominator.
On Thursday it started to rain about 11.00am and just didn’t stop!
It certainly felt like a “we’re gonna need a bigger boat” kind of a day really.
Anyhoot, despite the constant rain, we were still busy busy behind closed doors.
First up we welcomed a Kawasaki KLE 500 for a full service and the customer had asked us to fit some rear carb to airbox rubbers as the bike was not running correctly. After fitting these the running fault was still there. Under investigation, we have now found that the intake rubbers are to fault and are leaking. We have now ordered new ones.
Next up we welcomed a Honda CRF 300 L for an annual service and MOT. We were also asked to remove the rear tyre and remove a mousse. However, the mousse was so hard the tyre felt like the tyre had 60 psi in it. We could have removed the tyre with some considerable effort, but were concerned about scratching the rim. We have advised our customer and he is considering his options.

In the afternoon Oaklie set to building our new AJP PR7’s and Daniel was back with the Honda Dominator on the project ramp.
KTM 790 Adventure.
On Friday we welcomed a KTM 790 Adventure for a new set of Dunlop Trailmax Raid’s and Brembo brake pads front and rear.

The PR7 is easy to define: A real off-road bike, light, compact, agile, but comfortable, capable of good mileage and designed to carry luggage.
Experienced users know that there is nothing like a single to ride on the dirt, a predictable engine with small dimensions and immediate response from the smallest throttle opening, but with this unit, there is also room for travelling on the road with smoothness and enough power to cruise on the highway.
Want to know more? Then book in today.
Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits will be available to all those who attend.
