First UK Royal Enfield Authorised Service Centre and major investment at mono motorcycles.

Blog

As regular mono motorcycles supporters will know, we have been making some considerable changes to our workshop and infrastructure over the past few months.

We have been wanting to make investment in our business for some time now and have saved for many months to be able to finally put these changes in place.

Our first changes were made in our reception area. Having a window put into the wall we now have a new MOT viewing area and as this lets in natural light, our reception area makes it a much cozier place for our customers.

We also made our reception desk smaller to make more space and now have two comfy chairs for our customers to enjoy coffee and biscuits while they wait.

The next change was to put a door through into the MOT bay from Katy’s office. This has transformed how we all move and work by creating a better workflow though our space.

Our big change for 2026 was heavily influenced by our need for extra space. We invested in a new mezzanine for Unit 4 in our main workshop. This has vastly improved our storage space and as we are selling and accumulating more parts, we certainly needed it. We cannot thank our great friend Glen enough for all of his incredible building and carpentry work which has enabled to makes these changes.

As most people now know, one of the other main reasons for all of our recent investment and infrastructure changes is because we are now officially the First Royal Enfield Authorised Service Centre in the UK.

This means that as an independent and non-bike dealer we are able to offer RE service/repair under warranty and perform RE warranty work too. As our local dealers are about 1.5 hours in any direction, we can now offer support to our local RE community without them having to travel long distances to do so.

As part of the agreement between us and RE we had to build a designated RE service bay for RE servicing. All RE’s will be serviced using genuine parts and the special tools needed to work on them will also help us to support the RE community.

RE UK have been incredibly supportive throughout this process and we are extremely grateful for their belief in us.

Daniel and Oaklie have been to the RE UK training centre and Oaklie is now our official Royal Enfield Technician, with Daniel taking up the warranty side of things.

Royal Enfield released a press release on the 9th April 2026 recognising our new status.

“Royal Enfield, the world’s oldest motorcycle manufacturer in continuous production, has announced the opening of its first dedicated Authorised Service Centre (ASC) in the UK, with a dedicated bay for Royal Enfield customers.

Starting with the partnership with Mono Motorcycles in Chichester, further service centres are planned to open strategically across the UK, supporting areas with limited nearby official dealership presence. This new approach enables Royal Enfield owners easier access to authorised servicing, with the initiative representing a significant first for the brand, and a convenient option for owners.

George Cheeseman, Royal Enfield UK Country Manager, stated:

“We are delighted to welcome Mono Motorcycles as our very first Authorised Service Centre. This initiative further demonstrates our commitment to Royal Enfield riders, making sure we provide accessible, quality service right across the country. With this first appointment, we now look forward to adding, strategically, additional Authorised Service Centres, in areas where our riders most need them.”

On Sunday 29th March 2026 at our Spring Open Morning and after many months of planning, working every hour and every weekend we made an announcement to the attended crowds.

The feedback was fantastic and we truly felt the strength of the support from family, friends, customers, supporters and beyond.

We join the Royal Enfield family in their 125th year of production and could not be prouder to do so.
