Mono motorcycles, Havant, supports national charity.
Mono Motorcycles are proud to support our local blood bike group Serv Wessex.
This amazing national charity runs blood, organs and valuable equipment between hospitals.
All the riders are volunteers and the organisation runs solely on donations from the public. Being bikers and never knowing if we will ever need their help they had to be the charity of our choosing.
Therefore, we will be holding a few charity events over the coming months and out shaking their collection tin at any shows we attend.
Mono motorcycles attends the South of England Classic Motorcycle Show, Ardingly.
Last weekend we took the Mono Motorcycle stand to the South of England Classic Motorcycle Show, Ardingly. There was a great turn out with some amazing machinery. We pitched up along side an artist, Talana Gamah. Talana’s work is simply outstanding, to the point it was hard to tell it was not a photo! We just had to buy a few prints. You can also get commissions of your bikes. Look her up at www.talanagamahartwork.com
In the workshop we have re-assembled the pit bike with a new camshaft, rockers & gaskets.
Still with an off road theme, I got a call from a customer with a KTM exc 200 which had lost 6th gear. Short on space I collected the bike, pulled the motor and dropped the bike back; so I will get it stripped between jobs and create a list.
Four wheels now, but it’s still a bike.
Quadzillia 800 in for a service. This monster has a v-twin motor, auto gearbox and a winch!
Between all the daily bits I always have a slightly longer project ticking away in the background that I will focus on for a few hours between jobs. Currently we have a Ducati 999 in for just about every gizmo you can think of. Last year I helped to complete a swing arm conversion to a Ducati 916 single side unit with Ducati 848 wheels. This in itself created a few issues, mainly the speedo as a Ducati 916 runs from a cable on the front wheel and the Ducati 999 runs a sensor on the rear. A Ducati Multistrada sensor bracket got the speedo running somewhere near a Healtech Speedo Healer. Also we have been ask to fit a Healtech Quick Shifter a shift light & gear indicator. I will let you know how we get on. Of course if you need any work completing, please do contact us using our contacts page. Please click here.
