Sunday the 24^th August we held our August breakfast club and what a simply sensational morning it was. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported our event.

Tuesday

A busy Tuesday after quite a busy bank holiday.

First up we welcomed an Aprilia Tuono 660 for an annual service and MOT.

Next up, Oaklie fitted a new rear Dunlop D404 to a Triumph America and a set of Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart II’s to a Suzuki GSX650F. Another great sale from DJK Motorcycles Ltd

Next up, another rear tyre on a Triumph Trident – currently for sale though DJK Motorcycles Ltd and then an annual Service on a CCM Maverick sold through DJK Motorcycles Ltd for one of our customers.

We also welcomed a Honda VFR 800 for an annual service.

In between all of this Daniel was test riding our collective completed bikes for nearly an hour today.

The test ride process is often not connected by some as part of the service. However, to ensure we are satisfied that every bike has been ridden on the road after a service or repair, it is an essential part of our service and repair process.

Wednesday

On Wednesday Oaklie spent a good proportion of the day on a BMW C650GT. The C650GT joined us for a new rear tyre and fork seals. Like all great modern large CC scooter style motorcycles, the C650GT is built like very complicated jigsaw puzzle with a considerable amount of the body panels needing to be removed to access the front forks.

While Daniel started to work his magic on Katy’s CCM Bobber (watch this space!) Oaklie also completed the BMW RnineT Scrambler full service which we started late yesterday.

Again, Daniel has been out on road tests and he has also been replacing the water pipe on the Yamaha R1M.

Thursday

A mixed bag today.

On Thursday we welcomed a very cool Indian Scout for an Interim Service.

Next up a Honda VFR800 for a new set of Dunlop Roadsmart IV tyres and an MOT. Our customer is taking advantage of the £40.00 Cash Back offer from Dunlop on the Roadsmart IV’s.

We also welcomed two Royal Enfield’s to the workshop today. First up a Royal Enfield Classic 350 joined us for an interim service and next up a 2025 plate Royal Enfield Hunter joined us for a first service.

Friday

On Friday we welcomed back a Suzuki VL800 for an interim service and MOT. We also changed the coolant on this one as the owner noted that it had got a little warm on a recent tour of Ireland.

We also welcomed a Honda Transalp for an Interim service.

Daniel made some repairs to a Triumph T120 Bonneville after a recent tumble and then he spent Friday afternoon in the MOT bay with back-to-back MOT’s.
