We’ve welcomed an international selection of motorcycles to the mono motorcycles workshop this week.

From Honda to BMW, from Triumph to Harley Davidson; we service & repair all makes & models here.

First up on the ramp this week, the Repsol Honda CBR 600. The CBR joined us  for servicing and an arranged MOT

On Tuesday, we welcomed the simply stunning, concourse condition, 2009 Triumph Speed Triple 1050 Carbon Fibre Limited Edition.

This immaculate Triumph joined us for Major Servicing, fitting of OHLINS rear shock & we arranged the Triumphs MOT.

As part of the Major Service we carried out the valve clearance check & stripped out the rear shock & installed the new Ohlins unit. As part of the 12k service on Triumph’s we strip & clean the rear hub, grease the shock linkages, calipers & headstock bearings

On Thursday & following the diagnosis that the BMW K1200GT had a faulty coil, hence the miss fire; the parts having arrived from BMW were fitted & the miss fire had gone.

One of our regular customers brought his Honda CBR 600F to us on Wednesday. The CBR had a complete new clutch kit fitted.  

Also on Thursday, we welcomed another BMW & a real blast from the past it is too. The 1986 BMW K100 RS joined us with an electrical fault assessment. Every time the rider went over a bump, the BMW blew its main fuse. No TEXA diagnostic port on this one, just good old fashioned knowledge, wisdom & patience from the Wiring Whisperer Daniel Morris.

Daniel first took the tank off to asses the wiring. Once he had checked that all the ports were satisfactory, he then downloaded the Haynes wiring diagram to check where the feed for the main fuse went.

After Daniel removed the panels, he discovered the plug for the heated grips was bare, which lead him to suspect it had been shorting out on the handlebars & subsequently blowing the fuse.

Once the loom has been taped up & a fresh fuse fitted; a road test showed that the fault had gone.

Friday morning we welcomed one of our regular customers Harley Davidson Heritage Softail to the workshop.

The Softail joined us on Friday for a full machine detail, nano seal & winter prep treatment.

Our last Breakfast Club of 2019 is now on Sunday 3rd Nov 9am – 11.00am. Rain or shine, breakfast will be served. Our workshop will be opened up for guests to mingle & eat a hearty breakfast, or drop in for a pitstop.
