Here is a snapshot of some of the motorcycles we have welcomed through our doors this week.  

Aprilia RSV Mille

The Aprilia RSV joined us early in the week to have its valve clearances checked. In this case the valve clearances were all in spec.

It is important to keep to the valve clearance check schedule as per your manufacturer’s guidelines. Valve clearances which are too tight or too loose and left unattended can cause damage to your engine in the long term.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450

We also welcomed a  Royal Enfield Himalayan for an Interim Service. Please remember that we can service your motorcycles under warranty as long as we use genuine parts.

Kawasaki Vulcan 650

The Kawasaki Vulcan joined us for supply and fit of a super bright set of spotlights from Exposure AutoMoto. We also fitted a K&N air filter, an upgraded LED headlight and the bike was valeted and had an ACF50 treatment as part of one of our winter offers.

Aprilia RX125

We also welcomed an Aprilia RX125 for its first service. Another great sale for DJK Motorcycles Ltd

Honda VFR750

Mid-week we welcomed a very clean and tidy Honda VFR750. Our customer has owned the bike from new. The bike was originally booked in for us to replace the fork seals, perform and interim service and an MOT.

At arrival it was noted that where the fork oil had run down the forks, it had contaminated the front brake pads. This is quite common when fork seals are leaking. Once contaminated with fork oil, the faces of the brake pads can become hard and less responsive.

Our customer agreed to have the brake pads replaced along with the service, fork seals and MOT.

CCM Blackout

On Thursday we welcomed a stunning CCM Blackout for an annual service and MOT.

The Blackout was personally designed and speccd up by the customer with the CCM team and is a beautiful example of the stunning options available with the CCM brand.

Ducati 999

The Ducati had been off the road for about a year and a half. We therefore undertook a service, coolant change, changed the cambelts, fitted a new battery, fitted a NOCO Genius 1 charger and charge lead and the Ducati will have a fresh MOT too.

When you know your service needs doing or you’ve been putting off repairs and then the weather turns, do you wait until spring or act now?

This winter we are offering a free local collection and delivery service to support your service and repair needs through the winter.

Free collection/delivery areas covered are: Havant, Emsworth, Rowlands Castle, West Chichester, Southbourne, Westbourne, Fishbourne, Bosham, Chidham.

MOTs and Free MOT offer

mono motorcycles are now offering MOTs, alongside our full suite of service and repair options.

If you are looking for a local and professional MOT testing centre, then contact us today to make a booking.

We are also offering a free MOT with any Full or Major Service booked between October 2024 and the end of February 2025.

Conditions apply. MOT and service must be booked together and be completed at the same time.  Cannot be used in conjunction with any other winter offer.

Winter Valet and ACF50 treatment

As the seasons start to change, now is the time to think about taking care of your motorcycle through the Autumn and Winter months.

One way of protecting the moving parts of your motorcycle is an ACF50 treatment.

ACF-50 can penetrate deep into crevices, deactivates corrosion, and prevents further corrosion. It can also dissipate moisture and provide an atmospheric barrier to prevent further moisture contact. ACF-50 is safe to use and does not contain wax, resin, or silicon.

An ACF50 treatment should last you through the winter months.
