mono motorcycles & vehicle security opened their doors this last Sunday to welcome friends, family, customers, suppliers & Serv Wessex Blood Bikes to celebrate the official launch of their new premises at Funtington, Chichester.

What a great turn out & what fabulous weather too. After the blizzard which hit the South Coast on Thursday & Friday, Daniel Morris – Proprietor of mono motorcycles & vehicle security said “We did consider that if the weather didn’t improve, that we might have to postpone the event. We are really lucky that so many people came to our new premises at New Barn Farm, Funtington to celebrate with us”

Amongst the guests for the day, was Dave Plummer – Brand Manager for DATATOOL security products. Dave has always been really impressed with the proactive approach mono motorcycles & vehicle security take with the DATATOOL range. mono motorcycles & vehicle security were extremely grateful for his very generous raffle prize donation of a TrakKING Adventure with 1 years subscription & an additional 3 DATATOOL Croc Locks. As always DATATOOL are always at the cutting edge of motorcycle security, working alongside market leaders, ever striving for more innovative security measures in the fight against motorcycle crime.

Our raffle was in aid of the mono motorcycles & vehicle security chosen charity Serv Wessex, Blood Bikes. The Blood Bikes being a solely voluntary group, are such an vital organisation ensuring blood & organs are swiftly & safely delivered, changing lives with every delivery. Rich Hobden, who kindly gave up his Sunday to represent Serv Wessex said “The money mono motorcycles raised today would enable more of the Blood Bikes motorcycles to remain on the road, as they are all run on donations”

Raffle prizes were also donated by Mark Abbotts, a regular customer & owner of the recently regenerated ZZR1400. In addition, Pip & Carole Mason, Simone (Anna) Mason, Francesca Ayling of CoffeePug all donated prizes. A lot of the guests dug deep & mono motorcycles & vehicle security raised £70.00 with every penny going directly to Serv Wessex.

There was a constant stream of people through the doors of the new mono motorcycles & vehicle security premises at New Barn, Funtington & the one thing everyone agreed on was how professional the set up of the new unit was, how light & airy the space was & how refreshing it was to see such a variety of motorcycles in the workshop. From the brand new Triumph RS & Harley Pro Street Break Out, to the classic Honda 500 Four & the modern classic AJS Caldwell, cleverly posed in the back of a Ford Hot Rod pick up; the mono motorcycles & vehicle security open day really did showcase the diversity of the motorcycles regularly seen wheeling through its doors.

No open day would be complete without Coffee & cake & both were available in abundance. The Coffee Pug Barista, Francesca Ayling, kept everyone warm with delicious coffees & teas from their new range. Sustenance was provided by a stunning celebratory cake made by Katy Jane’s sister Simone (Anna) & Carole kept everyone going with divine chocolate popcorn bars, what a treat!

Many of the guests at the mono motorcycles open day have known Daniel Morris – Proprietor, for many years.
