October Breakfast Club

Our October Breakfast Club was a sensational smash. The weather was glorious and autumnal, and we think about 150 of you ventured out to join us. Our new caterer MJ Fine Foods went down a storm and we had so much positive feedback about their food.

Next stop, our Charity Christmas Gig in aid of Mental Health Motorbike and SERV Wessex on Saturday 29th November

Monday

After a super successful October breakfast club yesterday, we were all back in the thick of it on Monday

Daniel was the font of all knowledge on Monday with several visitors tapping into his knowledge vaults. He was also making the last adjustments and amendments to the Triumph T100 FT wiring. The wiring loom was loosely fitted in the bike and once Daniel was satisfied that all the components were working as they should; the plan would be to remove the loom and fully tape/heatshrink it and then refit it.

Round the corner from the project bench Oaklie welcomed a gorgeous Kawasaki Z900 for a winter snow foam and ACF50 treatment clean ready for winter.

Snow foam clean and ACF50 treatment from £60.00 + VAT.

Next up Oaklie welcomed a regular CCM Tracker to the workshop with a stunning burgundy frame. The CCM joined us for annual servicing and a couple of sundry adjustments.

Once Okalie was off the CCM, he put a Honda CRF250 Rally up on the ramp. The CRF has been purchased by a customer to experience some green lane adventures. The CRF will now benefit from various modifications and upgrades including a new full suspension system which is what Oaklie started on on Monday.

Tuesday

Another busy day here at mono motorcycles.

While Daniel focussed on the Triumph T100 FT wiring, Oaklie got to grips with a Honda CB650R.

The CB650R had been involved in an accident, and the owner had purchased the bike back off the insurance company as it was only a 2025 plate bike.

The damage was minimal, but we were to replace the handlebars, bar weights, and throttle cables. To replace the throttle cables you needed to remove the tank, air box and throttle bodies. To replace the handlebars you needed to remove and replace all of the switches and levers.

Our customer asked us if we could swap the original Honda heated grips over. Upon investigation, the control module housing had been cracked in half and as the grips had been completely glued, we were unable to remove them.

We offered an alternative and the DAYTONA integrated grips were fitted.

Our customer also asked us to replace the tyres, and we have upgraded these to Dunlop Roadsmart IV’s (it had Roadsmart III’s fitted)

Wednesday

Friday

On Friday morning we welcomed back a Triumph T100 Bud Ekins for an interim service. Then Oaklie was back on the Honda Fireblade restoration fitting the newly painted panels.

Daniel has completed the wiring on the Triumph T100 FT and now the bike needs to be put back together, a service and an MOT.
