This set is the first choice for the supply of all 12 Volt devices in e-mobility vehicles and for the restoration of classic cars if you need to change the original harness due to it´s age.
The E-Harness contains a dashboard control module and 2 power modules which control the 12 Volt power to all lights and other 12 Volt devices in a car. All switches and buttons at the dashboard are connected to the dashboard module. The modules “talk” via a small 2 – wire data line.
The main power to the modules is supplied from the dashboard module when you switch on the ignition switch. The 2 power modules are identical and are installed at the front side and rear side of the car. A small bridge against ground decides if the module is mounted at the front side or rear side.
Almost all power outputs are short circuit protected and self-resetting after the short circuit. This reduces the dimensions of the fuse box. This digital harness saves more than 100 metre cable in a typical car installation. The length of the power cables to the lamps are shorter and the installation time is shorter as well compared to a “traditional” harness.
