After a much-needed holiday to Spain, we have returned refreshed and ready to take on the winter.

Here is a snapshot of some of the bikes we have welcomed through our doors this week.

Mon

On Monday  morning we welcomed a Kawasaki Vulcan for an Interim service, followed by a Honda Africa Twin for an interim service and MOT.

Next up we welcomed a Piaggio MP for an Interim service and rear tyre, followed by a Moto Guzzi V7 for an Interim service.

Tues

On Tuesday morning we welcomed a CCM Blackout to mono motorcycles for a 4000 mile service, replacing the swing arm and an MOT.

Next up we welcomed a Triumph Street Triple for a charging issue. In this case a corroded earth lead terminal was the culprit.

Next up we welcomed a Triumph Thunderbird. The Thunderbird joined us having had what appeared to be a running fault. Once we had drained the fuel, refreshed it and started the bike up, it ran really well. We then completed an interim service and MOT.

Next up a Royal Enfield Himalayan joined us for an interim service and to check on why it had cut out recently. Our TEXA report showed a fault code for a misfire. As the bike is a 2024 model and still under warranty, we have recommended the bike be returned to Royal Enfield for warranty investigation.

Daniel also completed 6 MOTs today on some of our booked in bikes and some of the bikes for DJK Motorcycles Ltd

Weds

On Wednesday morning we welcomed a stunning Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster to the mono motorcycles workshop for an Interim Service.

Daniel  set Oaklie to task  to find out why a Suzuki GSXR750 SRAD kept cutting out. Oaklie found a large amount of corrosion in the plugs to the ignition, so much so the kill switch pin had rotted out. Oaklie cut out and repaired the damaged lead.

Thurs

On Thursday afternoon we welcomed a stunning 2024 Triumph Tiger Rally Pro 900 to the mono motorcycles workshop. The Rally Pro joined us today for a pre-sales safety check. Another fantastic sale for DJK Motorcycles Ltd

We are starting to take on winter project work and are also encouraging riders to start to think about their service requirements for 2025. Booking early not only secures your time in the diary, but it can give you the reassurance that your motorcycle keeps up with it’s service schedule.

Don’t forget, we can now MOT your motorcycle too.

Events

We have one last Breakfast Club in 2024 on Sunday 27th October.
