It’s been a week of nonstop servicing this week at mono motorcycles. Let’s take a look at some of the motorcycles we have welcomed through our doors.

Saturday

We are always striving to improve our customer experience and with this in mind we have recently fully enclosed our reception area making a soundproof and welcoming environment for our customers. Last Saturday we spent the day decorating and cleaning the new reception area.

Huge thanks to Glen and his team for the building and carpentry work which has enabled this transformation.

Sunday

Last Sunday Daniel finally got to his KTM Motocross Experience which had been gifted to him for his birthday 2022. It took his legs the better part of this week to recover!

Monday

On Monday we welcomed a stunning Harley Davidson 48 1200XL. The Harley joined us for Annual Servicing which included changing the clutch and primary drive chain oil, as well as the engine oil.

Tuesday

On Tuesday we welcomed a very tidy Suzuki GSX1400 for fork seal replacement and an Interim Service. Based on the status of the fork oil when we took the forks apart, we do not think it had been changed for many years.

Also on Tuesday we welcomed back the Vespa for a Major Service and belt change.

Wednesday

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Daniel had a Yamaha Tenere 1200 up on the ramp for a Full Service, coolant change, brake fluid change, bleeding the ABS and replacing the diff oil this afternoon. The reason why the bike was so stripped down was because the plugs are underneath the airbox.

On Wednesday and into Thursday,  Daniel started the Major Service on a KTM 790 Adventure. The valve clearances were all within tolerance. The Major Service on the KTM takes up to 7 hours to complete due to the amount the bike has to be stripped to service and check the valve clearances.

Thursday

Also on Thursday, Daniel undertook an Interim Service on a Yamaha Tricity.

Service and repair

We are already taking bookings for winter projects and winter service packages. We are encouraging bike owners to consider either having their bikes serviced throughout the winter months ready for any signs of warmer weather or, booking in for their scheduled servicing well in advance for 2024.

The weather this year has been unpredictable to say the least, so why not make sure your bike is road ready all year round to take advantage of the good weather as and when it appears!
